We're thrilled to share that we've initiated the crucial step in validating our Otoscreen system at Helsinki University Hospital (HUS), Finland. This moment marks a significant leap forward in our quest to revolutionize hearing healthcare.
November 30 - December 1, 2023 – SLUSH23, Helsinki
Great atmosphere at SLUSH23! Beyond the buzz of networking, SLUSH23 offered us the opportunity to showcase Otoscreen as a transformative solution in hearing healthcare. More than a project presentation, the event underscored our dedication to creating a future where enhanced hearing health is accessible to all.
October 11-12, 2023 – Nordeep Business Summit 2023, Espoo
In October Otos team presented the Otoscreen project at Aalto Pavillion during the NORDEEP Business Summit. The event highlights were the discussions with investors, startups, and other event attendees which help us to get one step closer to our goals.
September 25-26, 2023 – Nordic Innovation Fair 2023, Copenhagen
Team Otos had the privilege of participating in the Nordic Innovation Fair, which offered an excellent platform for learning, networking, and validating the value of Otoscreen solution. During the event, we engaged in enlightening discussions with our peer Sparkees from SPARK Finland and other Nordics. We also had the pleasure of reconnecting with fellow Biodesign Finland alumni, as well as meeting representatives from the BioInnovation Institute. Moreover, we had the honor of interacting with numerous inspiring and supportive investors and participants who attended the Fair. One of the highlights of the experience was the opportunity to deliver a pitch in front of a highly skilled jury and a relevant audience.
June 12-14, 2023 - Radical Health Festival
In June Team Otos participated in Radical Health Festival in Helsinki. Over the course of three days filled with networking opportunities and enlightening keynote speeches, the festival provided valuable perspectives on the challenges healthcare is facing globally. Key takeaways from the festival to effectively address these forthcoming challenges included: the creation of successful strategies that involve data integration, embracement of digital transformation, prioritization of preventative care, and maintaining a human-centered approach in healthcare.
May 16-17, 2023 - Bionnale 2023, Berlin
Team Otos participated at the Bionnale event in Berlin in April. The event was full of great encounters and interesting discussions.
April 25, 2023 - R2B Funding
Otoscreen project secured Research to Business (R2B) funding from Business Finland. The project is running from the 1st of June 2023 until the 31st of December 2024.
January 1, 2023 - SPARK Finland
The Otoscreen project was chosen to participate in the SPARK Finland pre-incubator program, which offers a pathway for developing practical and valuable solutions in the field of health tech and life sciences.
